    A media campaign through a tour in stages to discover and launch a new SmartWay in Sicily, coming into contact with the true and authentic Sicilian identity, consisting of endless facets of cultures, traditions, landscapes and gastronomy. The proposal is carried out in collaboration with various operators of experiential and creative tourism. Partners of the initiative: Sicilian Region, Confesercenti Assocamping, PleinAir Magazine.



    MAEC Museum of the Etruscan Academy and of the city of Cortona (AR) – Tuscany


    MANN National Archaeological Museum of Naples – Campania

    Two days of seminars and round tables on the subject “Iberians and Etruscans in the Ancient Mediterranean among archaeological research, Cultural Routes and tourism development“, where it is possible to establish a dialogue among Local Organizations, Universities and Cultural Institutes, Cultural Route Technicians and all cultural heritage stakeholders, as indicated in the Faro Convention.

    Specific meetings are also planned with high school students focusing on the Faro Convention and the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe.

    Partners of the initiative: AION Cultura Cortona, Municipality of Cortona, MAEC Museum of the Etruscan Academy and of the city of Cortona, MANN National Archaeological Museum of Naples University of Jaén, Louis Cardahi Foundation and Lebanese American University Beirut/Byblos (Lebanon).




    Majorca – Balearic Islands

    Historical regatta of Mallorca between the islands of Sa Galera (Palma) and Na Guardis (Ses Salines), a naval route used by the Punics 2200 years ago as a cultural and commercial route. A historical re-enactment and, above all, a reflection on the nautical knowledge and skills of the Phoenicians, a true intangible cultural heritage in the Mediterranean.

    Partners of the initiative: Municipality of Ses Salines, Associació d’Amics de Sa Galera, Association of Hoteliers of Colònia de Sant Jordi, Nautical Club of Sant Antoni de la Platja (Can Pastilla), Nautical Club of Sa Ràpita and the Agència de Turisme Balear.
