On the 22nd and 23rd February several meetings between Mr Dominioni (Executive Secretary of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes and Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes) and possible partners to involve in the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe were held in Brussels.
The internship is coordinated by the European Institute of Cultural Routes (EICR) in cooperation with certified Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe wishing to host students for their research and work.
Each intern will be assigned to a specific activity, in coherence with the research conducted and with the action of the EICR and the Cultural Routes.
On 19th February, Stefano Dominioni, Executive Secretary of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes (EPA) and Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes (EICR), the EPA and the EICr staff met with some representatives of " Jerusalem Way", in order to discuss their project and necessary developments, in view of a possible future candidacy as "Cultural Route of the Council of Europe".
The next General Assembly of the AEPJ will be held on February 22 and 23 in Barcelona, in the new offices of the AEPJ. In addition to the plenary session, the AEPJ will present to its members the new scientific committee, created with the aim of assisting in the development of European routes of Jewish heritage. Also, in the program, there will be different meetings between members and institutions. Likewise, the European projects that have been presented this January in the Creative Europe field will be presented.
The next General Assembly of the AEPJ will be held on February 22 and 23 in Barcelona.
On 15th-16th February, the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes (EPA) Bureau of the Governing Board held its meeting in Luxembourg, at the Cultural Centre of Neumünster. The Bureau discussed the 2017-18 evaluation cycle: regular evaluation of some certified Cultural Routes and evaluation of the new candidate routes.
Certified Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe under regular evaluation (cycle 2017-2018):
On 15 February, the EPA Bureau members and staff and the Secretariat of the EICR met with 12 international experts on Cultural Routes to discuss about Cultural Routes and candidate routes during a pleasant dinner.
The experts are involved in the Evaluation and Certfication Cycle 2017-2018, carried out by the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes (EPA) Bureau of the Governing Board at the Cultural Centre of Neumünster in Luxembourg.
The Hansa (Cultural Routes of the Concil fo Europe, since 1991) sponsors "Gotland Gastronomy - a food and beverage festival from farm to table".
The festival will take place from the 26th to the 29th April 2018, on Gotland and will include unique events: during one week local restaurants, local food and beverage producers and growers will compose special menues, beverage tasting, winemakers visitings and other experiences, meant to promote the gastronomic wealth of the region.
